Every application we have we provide a fully functional trial version. This allows you to fully test all aspects of the software. We provide a fully working trial so you know exactly what you are getting before you make the purchase.

I am sorry you are not happy with the software.

Very much appreciated that you do.

Something for CoffeeCup to keep in mind... you will get many more sales if you provide the feature that allows the shopping cart the option of paying with just a credit card. I will Not buy this Shopping Cart software until the software allows for credit payments through PayPal WITHOUT signing up.

I like many of your other software products, but this one is not for many of us.

Yes you are right. Direct credit card payments will be in the next release. :D

Also, you're not restricted to PayPal. There is a Google Checkout module available right now. This gives your users two options, both of which are very popular and well respected. There was a study recently that showed something like 85% of people shopping online could and would pay with one of these two options. That's a huge audience to be able to reach with a piece of software that cost just $49 and a few clicks to get running ;)

I am considering buying Shopping Cart, but ONLY if it includes the option of buying using credit card without signing up for paypal. When will this version be available, and can I still buy product at introductory discount price?

The introductory price is only good until the 31st. After that, the price will be raised to at least $49 or higher, so now is the good time to buy.

Is there an approximate date on the new release of shopping cart?
Thanks,

I'm sure glad I read this thread before buying the software. It would have been a waste of money. I'm sure you will lose a high percentage of your sales if you MUST sign up for an account with paypal buy something from a vendor. Someone should do a split test with the shopping cart that does require sign up and one that doesn't. I believe coffeecup be racing to put out a new product that doesn't require sign up if they could see the difference. Do you have to sign up for an account to buy coffeecup software? I certainly hope not!

Tom,

You don't actually have to sign-up to make the purchase. Everything is actually done automatically and is transparent to the user. To comment on your point about creating an account with CoffeeCup first, the answer is yes. When entering in all your contact information to buy the software, an account is automatically created for you. This is the exact same process our Shopping Cart Software does with PayPal.

I downloaded the trial version and liked what the shopping cart can do.

After I bought the full version I ran into a Pay Pal payment problem.

What I am not sure of is, am I doing something wrong or does this software only allow one Pay Pal account?

I have made 4 different sites that use shopping carts and each has a different Pay Pal account.

When I try to make the API Pay Pal changes to a second store and download to the appropriate location I get an error when checking out.

Can this be used to create carts for multiple stores with different Pay Pal accounts??

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
