Just to up everyone...I too was surprised to find that with this software express checkout only allows users who are paypal owners. I guess if you know all about paypal you would understand the restrictions. I have another client who uses the standard method with paypal and I assumed that all carts used this. Since this cart has been up the sales dropped to almost nothing since you have to be a paypal customer to process the order. I guess I will have to change to another vendor.
I would think after reading all these complaints that CCS would put this on the top of the todo list. I have an email into paypal to find out how the API can be tweaked so the button will work with the standards method but it seems like that might not be viable.
People do not trust paypal or they do not want to join another thing that will send them tons of spam and email ads.

I just went out to Google and looked at their merchant acct API and they do the exact same thing that PayPal does. Requires you to sign into your google acct OR create one before moving on to pay for the goods. I did not see any options to allow paying with a CC instead.

Hopefully I can maybe hack in a button on my cart that says pay with CC or your choice and have it go to PayPal Standard.

We are extremely close to releasing our first public beta of Shopping Cart Creator 3.5. This version is just loaded with new features !!

I need a few volunteers who have time to extensively test out the new version of the software and help us iron out any quirks.

What we need tested:
1) Opening saved shop from 3.0 or 3.1

2) Testing new tax module to ensure calculations are correct

3) Stress testing of the application itself.

4) Testing the payment modules to make sure orders are being passed through correctly.

We would love to give the software to anyone who asks, but for this beta period we really need individuals that have time to commit to fully testing and using the software. All users that provide feedback will receive a complimentary copy of Shopping Cart Designer.
