I made a site selling artwork for my trainer (equestrian trainer!), I did it in expression web which I found a complete nightmare. She wants to change it now so that she she can work on it too, which is a great idea, but I would like to know if shopping cart creator would make our lives easier? The site is www.diannebreeze.com and it is not made with any type of shop software. She likes the actual design of the site, and doesn't want to change it drastically, how would we use shopping cart? Can we keep to basically the same design? I will re-do the site in VSD.

It depends. I think SSC would be great for setting up a simple ecommerce site like this one. However, she has to consider a couple of things.

1. She would have to own a copy of the software if she wants to continualy make changes and updates.

2. I tried her payment process. The setup of Paypal she currently uses allows customers to pay with a credit card without requiring them to sign up for a Paypal account, which makes the most sense to me as a customer. This software however, requires the customer to first setup a Paypal account if they want to use Paypal.

If those are not an issue, I believe it is well worth the small investment.
