This may or may not be the appropriate place to put this...but I'm a good customer of Coffee Cup for many other tools so I'm going to do it anyway. I have been investigating many different shopping cart software products. I love the ease of Coffee Cup but unfortunately it just doesn't do what I need it to do...especially with no import feature...THAT is huge as I have thousands of products to upload, update weekly etc..etc...

Can anyone, Coffee Cup staff included, recommend a shopping cart software that I can buy, that is installed on my desktop for development purposes? I want to be able to develop on my desktop...everything...then upload to my servers...just like the coffee cup model. I intend to use this as an interim until Coffee Cup comes out with a pro version...I appreciate loyalty and extend the same to the vendors I choose...as long as I get the functionality I need.

I abhor the web-based, hosted models as they are a pain in the buns and are too adversely affected by internet conditions when doing administration. I currently use ShopSite and want to kick it to the curb.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!!!
