I have a site that has been working fine but I uploaded a new user and for some reason there is no security screen at all - it just goes to the page requested directly. I looked on in the root folder fo the site and I think there used to be a file called hta access but I don't see it now. I have uploaded (the ftp works) but it doesn't add that folder - am I mistaken and if not how do I get it back?

Do you mean .htaccess file?

If Im not mistaken WAM should provide you with a .htaccess file as part of the export. Try re uploading it to your server.
