I've got my web site running sunch that when I browse to:

http://agelessemail.local/ST2UI/designer.html

everything works perfect.

I create a website project in coffeecup, pointed the web site at my files located at c:\VSProjects\AgelessEmail and the project looks good, but when I try and preview in a browser (or look at the split screen below my html page), it seems to want to go to the file system.

I really want it to go to my http://age.. page. I've got web services I count on over there and as well as dynamic content coming down from relative urls.

Help! very confused.

Also, if you are still reading, do you have any support for formatting javascript and fancy javascript editing features?

These are files on your computer, right? If you have uploaded to some place, please let us have an URL.

My setup is I've got all my files in c:\VSPfroject\AgelessEmail (like index.html). That is also the root of a web site set up on my local (IIS) that I can navigate to as either http:\\localhost\index.html or http://ageless.local/index.html (I have an entry pointing to that in my local hosts file). I have results that return data at address like: http://localhost/MyData/GetData?id=101 (returns json data) and also like http://localhost/DisplayImage.ashx?id=99 that returns a jpg as bytes (with the appropriate header).

I love your editor BTW! I really hope I can get this live preview working.

If 'localhost' is the address for your project, it means that it is all on your computer, which we can't see.

It is very difficult to give advice when we can't see the files, the scripts, what is misplaced or missing. For us to be able to help, you need to upload the project to a server on the web. For that you need a domain name and a web hotel. Otherwise we would just be playing guessing games...
