I'm using the trial version of ‘Visual Site Designer 7.0’. The problem I have is that the ‘Longtail JW Video Player’ doesn’t play the video at the correct size – it plays it a larger than set resolution? Using the ‘html tool’ in Visual Site Designer I add the code as follows:

Header: <script type="text/javascript" src="/jwplayer/jwplayer.js"></script>

Body: <div id="container">Loading the player ...</div> <script type="text/javascript"> jwplayer("container").setup({ flashplayer: "/jwplayer/player.swf", file: "/uploads/video.mp4", height: 270, width: 480 }); </script>

When I load the html page, the video plays at a much larger than set size, irrespective of the size entered in the object properties window? I have tried to enter the code manually in the html file but the same problem occurs?

Interestingly, when I add the JW Player Video code to an html page using ‘Coffeecup HTML Editor’, the video is loaded at the correct size? But, it won’t work with an html page created in Visual Site Designer?

I do plan to purchase the complete version of the software – maybe this problem only exists in the trial version?

Any suggestions?

try changing the container div name. I think vsd uses the same div id in it's css and that might be overiding the html box.

Worth pointing out, there are no variations between trial version and paid version

what works or not in one will behave the same in the other.

Hi Eric, thank you kindly for your help - I'm a novice when it comes to websites! The change of div name worked fine, see link below (might be a few secs delay loading video). Time to purchase the full version.
